I am so excited to have you join me as I start a new life chapter \u2013 Belle\u2019s Crafting Adventures! I have had the idea to write a blog for a long time but let my lack of confidence and self-doubt get in my way. Since I\u2019ve turned 60 years of age, I decided I no longer want to wait for things to be \u201cperfect\u201d to get this started. For me, I\u2019m not sure there will ever be a \u201cperfect\u201d time or situation to start, so let\u2019s go! In this blog space I will share with you many adventures I\u2019ve had in the past and hopefully a lot to come in my future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been crocheting for about five years now, learning from watching videos on YouTube. My Grandma, Viletha, was a great knitter, crocheter, quilter, and did embroidery. I\u2019m sure she tried to teach me, but I was more into riding my horses during my childhood and high school years. I do, however, have many fond memories of crafting with her!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While on vacation with my husband, Wayne, my creativity seemed to come alive in the Black Hills of South Dakota this May! I will share some of our vacation adventures in a future post, this one is to let you know what\u2019s going on as a result of my creativity coming alive!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been a Kansas City Chiefs fan as long as I can remember. The Chiefs came to Kansas City in 1963, the same year I was born! Training Camp for the Kansas City Chiefs takes place in St. Joseph, Missouri, which is where I live. I watched games on our black and white TV when I was a child, attended some games in my adulthood, and have gone to Training Camp. My husband and I love watching football and we cheer on the Chiefs during every game. One of our dating moments took place during our third date in 2014! I may share more about that another time, most of our family and friends are familiar with the story!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I crocheted Chiefs inspired hats for my husband and I last year. They are super thick and warm for those cold winter days. Here we are modeling them for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have now created some items that will be great for any avid Kansas City Chiefs fan to wear or use at a game, during training camp, or any time. The items in my shop right now<\/a> are more for summer, I will be adding more items as I get them designed and made that will be geared more for fall and winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All items will be crocheted once an order is placed, so please plan your purchase accordingly. I look forward to sharing stories and new products with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
