April 2025 Crochet Updates

Hello, friends!

The month of April flew by in a flurry of yarn and springtime sunshine for me – how about yours? With the days getting warmer and brighter, I’ve been making steady progress on my projects and wanted to share a few fun updates from my hooks to yours.

First up, my temperature blankets are coming along beautifully! Now that the weather is shifting with the season, the squares are starting to show more vibrant colors. It’s been fun watching the palette change week by week. Here’s a look at my squares from April 2020 and April 2025 – can you spot the differences?

I also took a little time to try out a few of the free Easter crochet patterns I shared earlier this season. They were such fun, quick projects to work on. Here’s what I managed to finish with my daughter’s assistance. Did you craft anything new for Easter this year?

One of my personal highlights this month was finishing a brand-new shawl! I made the Laid Back Lace Wrap by Susan Kennedy of Pretty Peaceful. It was a joy to crochet—fast, relaxing, and the end result is something I’m really proud to wear. I even brought it along on my recent adventure, which I’ll tell you all about very soon!

Thanks so much for stopping by and catching up with me. I always love sharing these little snapshots of my crochet life with you. What have you been working on lately? Feel free to share in the comments below or over on my Facebook page—I’d love to hear about your projects!

Until next time,
~ Belle
