Crafting Joy for My Birthday

Belle crocheting outside while her cat Bandit sits under her chair

Yesterday was my birthday, and I chose to celebrate it by relaxing at home with my husband and our cats. I have been busy crocheting a few gifts for people and KC Chiefs-inspired accessories for my online store, (shop.bellescrafting.com) so I decided to pick a new crochet project for myself.

First, I sat outside on our patio to enjoy the beautiful morning. Listening to nature is so relaxing to me. Birds were chirping, I could hear the train whistle in the distance, and could even hear it going down the tracks. The melodic sound of the wind chimes added to the morning symphony.

I knew I wanted something I’d use and that would be a pretty quick project to make. After getting some encouragement from my cat, Honey, I found a project bag just waiting for me in my yarn stash!

A Project Baaaag that included an infinity scarf pattern, a skein of yarn and a crochet hook

Here’s what was in this super cute project bag. One skein of Expression Fiber Arts Superwash Dewy DK yarn in the color Glass Blue. It is 70% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon, 10% Silk; the pattern for the Beginner’s Crochet Infinity Scarf; a US Size G (4.00 mm) crochet hook.

I will update you when I have finished this project and will provide you with details on making this beautiful Infinity Scarf. Thanks for spending time with me today!

Until next time,
~ Belle
