February here in Northwest Missouri was marked by numerous cold and snowy days. Fortunately, being a shorter month, it passed by quickly.
I’ve been making progress on my 2020 and 2025 temperature blankets, and I’m happy with how the colors are coming together. The pattern I chose this time has been a joy to work on! In the past, I used long rows for my temperature blankets, but they started to feel repetitive and a bit cumbersome. This time, I decided to try a different approach, and it has made the whole process so much more fun and engaging.

Besides my own projects, I’m making a blanket for a friend. After making blankets for her daughters in December, it’s now her turn! The design is lovely shades of pink and white in a ripple pattern. I’ll share a picture once it’s done!
I wanted to try out some of the free crochet patterns I shared with you for Valentine’s Day, so I made a few of those in February so you could have a picture for reference. Did you have time to make anything for yourself or loved ones?

I had a day off from work due to weather, and decided to crochet a couple of placemats. I used the pattern for Bulky Rustic Placemat by Blessed and a Mess as a guide. I didn’t have any bulky yarn, so I used two strands of Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend in the color Cloud Nine.

February 2025 was a blur for me, was it like that for you? I’m looking forward to new crochet projects in March and even more excited for Spring!
Thanks for stopping by today – I always appreciate sharing these updates with you! Share your February projects in the comments here or on my Facebook page. Take care, and I’ll see you again soon.
Until next time,
~ Belle
