I have been following Expression Fiber Arts since December 2014. When I got the email from Chandi telling about the upcoming Crochet Along (CAL), the very first Magical Gratitude event, I knew that it was what I wanted for my birthday. So, I ordered the 2024 Magical Gratitude Bundle early morning on the release date. It sold out in a very short amount of time! I also wore one of my favorite shirts as of late in the video, the “Crochet is Cool” shirt from B.Hooked.
As you saw in the video of the unboxing, there is a lot of beautiful yarn. Also included is a magical Gratitude Goody Box that has eight bags that will be opened during the 8-week CAL. I will share the weekly gratitude recommendation but will not post any pictures of the items as I don’t want to spoil anything for those participating in the event. I also received a digital copy of the pattern which is a beautiful semi-circle shawl created by Janica York Carter called Nuanua which means “rainbow” in Samoan.
As you also saw in the video, I became emotional when reading the inside of the Goody Box. I didn’t know when I ordered the bundle how much I really needed it. I look forward to creating the beautiful shawl and participating in the 8-week CAL. I have the yarn all caked up and ready to start! I will post pictures, updates and maybe even some more videos through the process.
This CAL may be just what I need to improve my mental and physical health issues I’ve been dealing with the past month. I do believe things come to us just when we need them. I am grateful you have taken a few minutes out of your day to be here.
